Lithium Battery
Lithium battery is a kind of lithium metal or lithium alloy as the anode material, the use of non-aqueous electrolyte solution of the primary battery, and rechargeable battery Lithium ion battery and lithium ion polymer battery is not the same.
Due to the very active chemical properties of lithium metal, the processing, preservation and use of lithium metal require very high environmental requirements. Therefore, lithium batteries have not been used for a long time.
With the development of microelectronic technology at the end of the 20th century, the miniaturized equipment is increasing day by day, which puts forward high requirements for power supply. Lithium battery then entered the stage of large-scale application.
Lithium batteries generally fall into two main categories:
1. Lithium metal battery: Lithium metal battery is generally the use of manganese dioxide as the positive material, lithium metal or its alloy metal as the negative material, the use of non-aqueous electrolyte solution of the battery.
2. Lithium ion battery: Lithium ion battery is generally used lithium alloy metal oxide as positive material, graphite as negative material, the use of non-aqueous electrolyte battery.
